Indonesia currently accounts for 55% of World Palm Oil Production and 60% of World Exports. The Entire Production of the Palm Oil is derived from Indonesia’s Rainforest which ranks third in the World, the other two being in the Amazon and Congo basins.
What is Palm Oil?
Palm oil is the most widely-used vegetable oil in the world. Palm fruit oil, generally known as palm oil, which produced from the pulp of the fruit of the oil palm tree (Elaeis Guineensis). This tropical fruit is reddish in color because of high beta-carotene content. The fruit is about the size of a large olive. The palm fruit has a single seed or kernel, which used to produce palm kernel oil. Each palm fruit contains about 30-35 percent oil.
